Dika Court (Thai Supreme Court)
The apex court in the Thai judicial hierarchy. Reviews Court of Appeal decisions on questions of law or, exceptionally, of fact.
The Dika Court (ศาลฎีกา) is the highest ordinary court in Thailand — the third tier above the Court of First Instance and the regional Courts of Appeal. Its primary role is reviewing questions of law from the appellate courts; it may also hear questions of fact where the sentence exceeds prescribed thresholds. Dika decisions are binding precedent, and Dika review is available for §112 and other serious cases, though leave to appeal is not automatic. Constitutional-court and Administrative-court proceedings run through separate, parallel court systems.
